- 1 jar (275g) Shish Mahal Rich Bhoona Cooking Sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1-2 green chilies (finely chopped, optional for extra heat)
- 2 tsp Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- Fresh coriander (for garnish)
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Chicken: Start by cutting the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Season with a little salt and pepper.
-
Add the Sauce: Pour in the entire jar of Shish Mahal Bhoona Cooking Sauce. Stir well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated with the sauce.
-
Simmer: Lower the heat and allow the mixture to simmer gently for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. The chicken should be fully cooked, and the sauce will thicken slightly.
-
Add Spices: Stir in the Chili Powder and Garam Masala. Remeber be conservative when adding in additional spices, you can always add more if you would like it hotter but much harder to go back. Allow to simmer for another 4-5 minutes, add some water is the sauce is getting too thick.
-
Season and Finish: Taste the madras and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
-
Serve: Garnish with the remaining coriander and serve your Chicken Madras hot with basmati rice, naan bread, or chapatis.
